What Managed Email Security Costs for 10, 25 and 50 Users on the Year-End Offer

· 7 min read · Email Security

We have written about what Managed Email Security includes, the year-end offer, and the twelve questions people ask before buying. What we have not done is put the numbers on one page for the sizes of business we actually talk to. So here they are: what a 10, 25 or 50 person business pays for Managed Email Security on the year-end offer, per month and over the 12-month agreement, what the discount is worth in dollars, and what the price covers. First, though, what the license is, because the numbers are for Check Point's Advanced Protect package, a product Check Point announced Gartner had named a Leader in its 2025 Magic Quadrant for Email Security, not an entry tier. The figures stand on their own: there is no setup fee, no onboarding fee and no multi-year contract to fold in. And if you already hold a license from another vendor and manage it yourself, there is a second route with no price table: the Check Point license on its own, and we beat the qualifying quote you hold, like for like. The terms are at the end.

What you are buying: Check Point's Advanced Protect package, not a cut-down version

A price only means something next to what it buys, so the license first. Managed Email Security runs on Check Point Email Security, the product Check Point sold until recently as Harmony Email & Collaboration (formerly Avanan), on the Advanced Protect package with Email Only coverage for Microsoft 365 mail and Gmail. Per Check Point's licensing guide, Advanced Protect "Includes phishing protection, account takeover protection, and protection against known and unknown malicious URLs (URL Emulation) as well as known and unknown malicious files (Sandbox and CDR)." On the guide's feature table that is anti-phishing for incoming and internal email, known malware prevention, malicious URL prevention plus URL click-time protection with link rewriting, account takeover prevention, detection of unauthorized applications (shadow IT), zero-day malware prevention by sandboxing, and attachment sanitization, which Check Point calls Threat Extraction. The package above it in Check Point's lineup, Complete Protect, adds data loss prevention; the protection engines are the same. There is no small-business edition: the packages on Check Point's licensing page are the same whatever your mailbox count. In the wider market, sandboxing, click-time link protection and attachment cleaning can be sold as a higher tier or an add-on; here they are in the package, and the price below covers them.

The product carries the outside recognition to go with that list. In December 2025 Check Point announced that Gartner had named it a Leader in the 2025 Magic Quadrant for Email Security, its second Leader placement after the inaugural 2024 Magic Quadrant for Email Security Platforms. In the same announcement Check Point said that in Gartner's companion Critical Capabilities for Email Security report the product "Ranked highest in Core Email Protection." Earlier in 2025 Check Point reported that GigaOm named it a Leader and Outperformer in the 2025 GigaOm Radar for Anti-Phishing. Those are Check Point's announcements of the analysts' findings, and Gartner states that it does not endorse any vendor in its research publications. We cite them for one reason: so you know that the license under the price below is the one those reports describe.

The price, in one line

Managed Email Security is $6.40 per user per month on the year-end offer ($5.60 for registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits; $8 list). The offer is 20% off (30% for registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits) on a 12-month Managed Email Security agreement signed by December 31, 2026, new customers only, no onboarding fee. A user is a person whose mailbox we protect; we confirm the count with you when you order. The count is set at the order and reviewed at renewal, and the price for the term is the price you signed. For any other count, multiply by $6.40 (or $5.60) per user, then by 12 for the agreement.

10 users

At $6.40 per user per month, 10 users is $64 per month, $768 over the 12-month agreement. At the $8 list price the same 10 users would be $80 per month and $960 for the year, so the offer saves $192 over the term. A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit pays $5.60 per user: $56 per month, $672 for the year, $288 less than list.

At that size there is often no dedicated person; in the businesses we talk to, the owner or the office manager checks the quarantine when they remember to. For $64 a month the checking becomes our job.

25 users

At $6.40 per user per month, 25 users is $160 per month, $1,920 over the 12-month agreement. At list it would be $200 per month and $2,400 for the year, so the offer saves $480. A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit pays $140 per month, $1,680 for the year, $720 less than list.

At 25 users, in the businesses we see, a held supplier invoice or a payroll notice that looks like phishing tends to land more than once a week, and an outside IT provider may be billing by the hour to look at it. If so, that hourly line is the number to compare the $160 against.

50 users

At $6.40 per user per month, 50 users is $320 per month, $3,840 over the 12-month agreement. At list it would be $400 per month and $4,800 for the year, so the offer saves $960. A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit pays $280 per month, $3,360 for the year, $1,440 less than list.

At 50 users, many businesses already pay for a dedicated email security product and somebody's time to run it. If that is you, read the license-only section below before you compare; the comparison may be a different one.

What the price covers

Each figure above buys the same thing: the Check Point Advanced Protect license described at the top and our managed service together. On the service side that is the business-day review of what was held, spam filtering and a clean inbox, allow and block list management, release requests, investigation when it is needed with no cap on the time we spend, a written monthly summary, the two-session onboarding, and 24/7 support. It also includes a one-time SaaS security posture report of your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant, delivered within the first 90 days at no charge. It covers multi-factor authentication and conditional access, admin and emergency access accounts, external forwarding and external sharing, allow lists, third-party app permissions, and your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, with what we found and what we recommend. What the first 90 days look like walks through it.

None of that is an add-on. There is no setup fee, no onboarding fee, no cap on investigation time, and no multi-year commitment; the agreement is 12 months.

What is not in the price

The numbers above are Managed Email Security, email only. Add-ons such as security awareness training or dark web monitoring are priced separately on the services page and are not in the figures. The only other thing we sell that touches these numbers is the license route below, and that one has no price table.

Before you pay anything: the free two-week trial

The numbers above are what you pay after you have seen the product on your own mail. The free two-week email security assessment connects Check Point Email Security to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace by API, no MX change, in Monitor only mode; during the assessment we quarantine nothing and your current filter keeps working. At the end we show you what reached your inboxes and, for each example that matters, what we would have done in the same situation. You keep the report whether or not you buy. The agreement has to be signed by December 31, 2026 to carry the offer price, and a trial started in November still finishes with weeks to spare.

Self-managed? Then the comparison is your quote, and we beat it

If you already run a dedicated email security product with your own admin or IT provider and you want the Check Point license on its own, without our managed service, the numbers above are not your numbers. That route has no price list. Send us the written quote you hold from any other vendor or reseller, like for like: the same product category and protection tier, the same number of users, the same term, dated within the last 30 days, license only against license only, issued to your business for a paid standalone license or subscription. We beat that quote. Guaranteed, on those terms. A beat, not a match. A list price from a vendor's website, a bundle price, a verbal number, or a managed quote compared against a bare license does not qualify.

It applies to the renewal quote on the product you hold today and to a higher tier you want to step up to, beaten with the matching Check Point package.

What you get with the license is the free two-week trial first, Check Point's technical support under the plan on your quote, and a monthly check-in from us for the term: a short written report, an optional call, and a renewal heads-up typically about 30 days out. You run the console; we do not touch your MX records. How the license-only route works has the full terms, and the twelve questions cover what does and does not qualify. Nonprofit pricing applies to Managed Email Security only; the license route is priced against your quote regardless.

How to start

Tell us how many people have a mailbox and whether you are a registered 501(c)(3), and we send back the exact monthly and 12-month figures for your count, the trial date, and the agreement, which carries the offer price when signed by December 31, 2026. Self-managed with a quote in hand? Send the quote instead, and we come back with the Check Point package that matches and the price against your quote, usually within two business days. We work with small and medium businesses and nonprofits nationwide, including Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. To start, book a free 15-minute call, or see the services page.
